The story starts with a funeral of 80-year-olds for their team captain as they magically go back to that summer 70 years prior, and their rag tag Little League baseball team: a too old Coach (68), the first black child, and the first girl to ever play. It was 1950, local papers exploded the story. Against all odds, that season changed and impacted these kids for their entire lives. You’ll laugh, cry, and root for this team of underdogs.
